New boy Andrew Pitt wasted no time in settling down with his new team, bike and track here at Mallory Park.
The 2008 World Supersport Champion worked hard through each of the practice sessions to find a good set up for the final qualifying, posting a solid 6th position to start his first every British Superbike race from the 2nd row of the grid.

“I’m getting dizzy going around this track! It is really hard to link the entire track together to get that one fast lap, a small mistake is punished much more than a longer track and a decent grid spot is crucial.
The second row will do as I am confident the steps we are making with the bike will let me run at the front pace. It is going to be a real endurance test with 30 degree heat predicted and I am more than ready for that”
Dan Linfoot enjoying one of his best weekends so far is benefitting from having a strong experienced team mate, Dan and Andrew are sharing set up data and both are moving forward consistently. Dan lines up next to Andrew on the 2nd row in 8th position.

“Mega weekend so far, I am getting my confidence back and really enjoying myself, the small adjustments to the bike have all been positive and I have moved forward with very session. Having a world champ as my team mate definitely takes a bit of pressure off and gives me and the team more info for the bikes. It’s going to be a tough battle around this track in this heat but I am in a good frame of mind”

“We have had a great weekend so far, Andrew’s influence has been vey positive for the team and specially Dan, we have needed a rider of his experience to steer the ship. Mallory is well known for great tight racing and staying out if trouble in the early laps will be on both guy’s minds.
We have not seen Andrew with his race face on so we don’t know what to expect!”
