The British Superbike road show moves to Norfolk for the 7th round of the series and to Snetterton, one of the fastest circuits on tour.
For the Motorpoint Yamaha team of Dan Linfoot and Andrew Pitt it is hopefully a weekend of normality after the hectic back to back weekends of Mallory Park and Knockhill, the latter being cancelled due to Hurricane Hamish blowing through!Snetterton will be another new circuit for Andrew Pitt to learn, a fast straight and a not too technical chicane section should make life a lot easier than the two circuits he has just come from.

“I am so keen to get back on the bike and get going, Snetterton should be easy compared to the tricky little tracks we have just done, both Mallory and Knockhill were very frustrating especially Knockhill with the freaky weather. We need to see a strong result here, there is no reason why we cannot mix it with the guy’s at the front we have shown the pace but not had a chance to finish the job off, we will this weekend!”

“Like Andrew I am frustrated Knockhill did not get to run with the bad weather, if anything it makes me look forward to Snetterton even more. I had good pace at Knockhill and really feel that I am getting closer to the front runners, the bike should be strong this weekend so let’s hope we can get a good result.”

“Well we are heading to one of the fastest tracks of the season with a couple of riders who relish the challenge. Andrew will be much happier at a track where he can get the gas open and not trip over slow chicanes. He is getting frustrated that the results have not come yet and we need to keep him in check and finish the job off this weekend. Dan is flying as well, you have to remember he is the youngest guy on the grid and we are racing at a World Championship pace, he is going to slip off pushing and you half expect that, as soon as he settles he will be one of the top runners.
We have three races this weekend with the cancellation of the Knockhill round so that should work in our favour with Andrew learning the track.”
