For the Superbike teams Saturday was to be a fairly hectic day, as well as the pole position shoot out a re run of the cancelled race at Knockhill was slotted in the programme.
Both riders battled from a poor start through to point scoring positions in the re scheduled race but are hoping for a better race result tomorrow.
Dan Linfoot 13th re scheduled race 9th qualified
“The 13th position doesn’t sound too good but I rode very well, I made a bad start and came through with some very strong race laps, I wanted to get that race finished and look forward to tomorrows race, we have a better start position and a good chance of getting with the right group”
Andrew Pitt 14th re scheduled race 13th qualified
“After the first lap battle ground I found myself nearly last so to come through was not too bad, I really need to get a start tomorrow and make the jump to the faster guy’s”

“We all hoped for more, the grid for the re scheduled race came from the Knockhill weekend and we started on the 4th and 5th rows so it was going to be tough.
Dan had a great pace and his lap times matched the front runners, if he can get away tomorrow we should be OK, Andrew has had another night to sleep on this new track and I am confident he will race well”
