Dans ambition is to become a sucessful motorcycle racer.
In 2001 Dan competed in the national minibike championship, becoming series champion the following year.
2003 saw him move to the Auto 66 /formula/production 125 class where he went on to win the stars of Darlet 125 race.
2004 saw Dan compete in the NEMCRC 125 Championship, where, he took the title.
In 2005 he finished 4th in the British 125 championship, 2nd in the ACU Academy junior cup, and 9th in the British 125 GP.
In 2006 he won the Vallelunga round of the European 250 championship.
2007 saw Dan with a best result of 9th place in the European 250 championship, then in 2008 Dan finished 5th in the European Superstock championship, including a race win at Assen and Magny Cours.
